Dr. Brianna Browning – Owner, Acupuncture, Functional Medicine
Dr. Brianna Browning, LAc, FABORM, IFMCP has a broad range of experience in the medical field including expertise in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, a certified Functional Medicine practitioner, and advanced training in fertility and reproductive medicine. She has a passion both for research-based medicine and ancient healing techniques. Brianna partners with her patients to help facilitate inspired health by focusing on the root causes of disease and creating personalized holistic treatment plans.
Brianna obtained her Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, CA. She is National Board (NCCAOM) certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture, holds a California state acupuncture license, an IFM certified Functional Medicine practitioner, and is Board Certified as a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM). In addition to her formal education, she apprenticed for 3 years with Dr. Maureen Rozenn studying women’s health, fertility, and prenatal care.
In addition to her private practice, she currently runs an Acupuncture clinic at the Tahoe Forest Cancer Center to help patients mitigate and alleviate side effects of cancer treatments. She is credentialed with Tahoe Forest Hospital to treat patients both at the Cancer Center and Labor and Delivery Department.
Patients can expect personalized medical care designed to address specific needs and an invaluable resource of knowledge and health education. Treatments may include acupuncture, blood chemistry analysis, functional testing, herbal and nutraceuticals, plus nutrition and lifestyle counseling.
When not in the clinic, she can be found traveling the world, spending time with loved ones, raising her son Westley and enjoying all the activities and beauty that Lake Tahoe Basin offers.

Polly has spent the last 26 years offering her gifts as a healer in the Lake Tahoe/Truckee region of California. Originally from Boulder Colorado, Polly embraced Shamanic and Earth Based healing practices early in her life and incorporates them within her Massage and Visionary Craniosacral Work®. She is passionate about creating ritual and ceremony in the lives of people in her community. Polly currently has a healing practice Bodywise Massage at Whole Roots Health in Truckee California and works as an Oncology Massage Therapist at the Tahoe Forest Cancer Center.
